Buy Mini Excavator — Online Guide for Contractors

Looking to buy a mini excavator for trenching, footings, landscaping, or utility work? Excavaro is an independent U.S. retailer of compact excavators and attachment kits — with financing options, Section 179 discussion points for your tax advisor, and nationwide freight from 656 Gulf Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314.

Important: Excavaro is not an authorized OEM dealership for Kubota, Yanmar, Honda, or other engine brands referenced in product specs. We sell new machines from brands such as TYPHON, AGT, CFG, RIPPA, and HUAYEE, some of which use OEM engines as specified on each product page.

Start here — shop by need

• All mini excavators — 1 ton through mid-size cabin models
• Excavator attachment kits — dig, drill, grade, and break bundles

How to choose before you buy

1. Job profile — trench depth, spoil handling, and access width usually matter more than peak HP.
2. Weight class — match operating weight to your trailer and tow vehicle ratings.
3. Attachments — a thumb, auger, or breaker often pays for itself faster than upsizing the excavator.
4. Cab vs canopy — year-round crews often prefer enclosed A/C cabins; open canopy units cost less and weigh less.
